Alan Wake Dev Is Disappointed With Game Journalists
Remedy's Matias Myllyrinne isn't angry, he's just disappointed with spunky journalists WHO posted leaked Alan Wake footage.
Late last week, footage of the first 10 minutes or so of Alan Wake began finding its way around the internet, as these things are wont to manage. Myllyrinne, Remedy's managing director, was inferior than thrilled that game journalists chose to post the clips, Tweeting:
Game journalism is not about playing a game in 10 minute segments and posting random quality videos on the net. Defeated.
IT's an interesting comment, given his to begin with Tweet of "Annoyed someone leaked 11 minutes of awaken.., spoilers knocked out there." Random people giving gone his game's secrets is certainly an understandable gripe, but Myllyrinne seems to be even as nettled that videos organism posted are of varying quality. That may be because Microsoft is expression that Alan Wake "sets the bar" for medium carry through, and Myllyrinne is agoraphobic that the leaked vids don't execute the gimpy justice. Operating room maybe atomic number 2's antitrust plain nervous about the plot's impending release.
Alan Rouse has been in development for, it seems, a period of fourth dimension just slightly shorter than the Bronze Age, with its ultimate emergence frequently in doubt. Now that it's finally scheduled to straighten out of day (for reals!), it wouldn't be unreasonable for Myllyrinne and crew to be a trifle anxious virtually its reception.
Veneration non, Matias. Spoilers and shoddy video timbre be damned, Alan Awake was one of my Fivesome Favorites from last year's E3, and I'm tranquil anxious to get my hands on it.
Alan Wake comes out on May 14 in Europe and May 18 in North America.
